Everything isn't new for me, but today everything was new for my son. He went to a new place with new people, ate some new foods, then went to another new place with more new people.

Nothing fazed him. He was running around, climbing on stuff, eating food, making friends. It's amazing to watch.

You hear about this sometimes from parents - that one of the joys of parenting is experiencing the wonder of the world from the fresh eyes of your children. I guess my son is old enough for me to start having more of those moments.

Parenting is cool.
